A Daily Prayer

Almighty and most merciful Lord; as our nation, and all the world struggles in these horrific economic times, instill within each of us to return to your truth and yearnings. Remind each of us that:

  • there is always hope for the weary, if we would only reach out to all our sisters and brothers of your Creation.
  • there is always hope for the wounded, if we would only give ourselves to others as your agents of healing.
  • there is always hope for the lost, if we would only stop in our own self-centered journey to help lead others to a brighter future, overflowing with your mercy and compassion, through us.

There is always hope ... and we are heralds of that Kingdom hope ... through all that we do and say.
